During the beginning of the winter months – November and December, the soil surface is often frozen and the replanting technique is no different from the regular one.
December to January are characterized with low temperatures and the soil is frozen. A preparation is being executed during the month of November.
This includes excavating of pit which is filled with warming material, usually removed when the temperatures drop below 0 Degrees.
The plants can be transported with frozen root ball, but should be taken into consideration their tolerance of cold. Usually covered with heating materials and even snow. Follows a replanting process during the growing season, which takes place during the months from May to September.
May and June are characterized by very intense vegetative growth of trees and shrubs. After transplanting, the plants slow their growth and develop a well balance. During this period no antitranspirantes are required.
July – the growth of the trees and shrub subsides and begins the transformation of plastic materials in stock. During this period, the plants are not likely to recover from transplanting. If needed, an antitranspirants are recommended for extensive use.
August – when August starts, starts the full maturation of the trees and shrubs, as well as the passage of plastic substances to their root system. It is vital to protect the maturing plants from the sun with moist tissue, covering the roots and the stem. A falling leaves with defoliants is a common practice. These plants can be replanted with an open root system later. The treatment is done about two weeks before the period of removal. After planting, they should be watered thoroughly.shroom shop
